Order Cancellation Policy

To cancel an order you have placed with Sharing Machine, you must contact customer support by email (store@sharingmachine.com). Every effort will be
made to accommodate the cancellation of your order as long as it has not yet been sent to the warehouse for packing/shipping. When contacting customer support to cancel an order, please be ready to provide your name, the order number, and your contact information.
Please note that if the order has arrived to the warehouse for packing/shipping, the order cannot be canceled. Customers may exchange T-Shirts for shirts in the same style and a different size (see EXCHANGE POLICY - T-SHIRTS, below) but original art, prints, books, bags, drinkware, or other merchandise are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange, once shipped.

Out of Stock Policy

Our inventory can fluctuate throughout the day, so an item indicated as "in-stock" when you place your order may, in fact, be out-of-stock. In this event, we make every effort to contact you by email immediately to notify you that your order will be placed on backorder. The email will also provide you with information on how to cancel the order if you would prefer not to wait for
the item to be in stock again. Most out-of-stock items are in stock again within two (2) weeks. Original art is "in-stock" if it is shown on the website, but must be prepared separate from your other item(s) and will be shipped within two (2) weeks. If you select one of these items, your checkout page will indicate the actual shipping date. If the shipping date is not acceptable, you may cancel the item before confirming your order.

Shipping Policy for In-Stock Items

All items indicated to be in-stock are shipped within 2 business days (Monday through Friday) of your payment. We can not, currently, provide an email notification when your order is shipped, but items marked as "in-stock" will be shipped within 2 business days of payment.
IMPORTANT: As inventory fluctuates hourly, an item indicated as in-stock when you place your order may, in fact, be out-of-stock. In this event, we make every effort to contact you by email immediately to notify you that your order will be placed on backorder. The email will also provide you with information on how to cancel the order if you would prefer not to wait for the
item to be in stock again.

Tracking Number / Information


All packages shipped from Sharing Machine include tracking information via USPS.com. If you do not receive an email within 72 hours of your receipt that contains tracking information for your order, please contact store@sharingmachine.com.


Expedited Shipping

Sharing Machine does not and can not expedite packages to arrive faster than the above shipping times of 7-10 business days within the 50 US states (does not include APO) or 2-4 weeks for destinations outside the 50 US States. We can not guarantee any delivery times except in the case of Christmas orders, which must be placed by the Christmas deadlines (See "Christmas Delivery" below) in order to guarantee delivery by Christmas Eve (December 24.)


Return Policy/Deadline - Natalie Dee Custom Artwork

There will be NO REFUNDS for Natalie Dee custom artwork once work has begun. By purchasing Natalie Dee custom artwork, you agree to the description as stated in the item details, as well as a delivery time of 2 calendar weeks (14 calendar days) for the completion of the work from the date that your consultation with Natalie Dee about the details of your artwork has concluded. If you want your finished Natalie Dee custom artwork to be emailed to you on December 24, 2011 you must order by December 14, 2011 at 11:59pm Eastern time. Natalie Dee cannot guarantee completion of custom artwork by any specific day before December 24 for any custom artwork orders placed during the month of December 2011.


Return Policy - T-Shirts, Prints

Defective merchandise will be replaced by NEW, non-defective merchandise of the same size/style as the defective merchandise, shipped via First Class Mail (USA) or Airmail (outside of USA) at Sharing Machine's cost. If you receive defective t-shirts or prints from Sharing Machine, contact store@sharingmachine.com via email with the subject "Sharing Machine Defective Merchandise".

Sharing Machine does not provide refunds for merchandise received by the customer in acceptable condition. Please see "NO REFUNDS", below, for the details of our no refunds policy.

Defective merchandise which is out-of-stock upon receipt will be replaced by an alternate size/style selected by the customer. Sharing Machine does not provide refunds for defective out-of-stock or closeout/clearance merchandise.

Merchandise marked "CLEARANCE, "CLOSEOUT", or "MARKDOWN" is not eligible for return or exchange. DO NOT send merchandise marked "CLEARANCE, "CLOSEOUT", or "MARKDOWN" back to Sharing Machine as we can not exchange it or send you the original item(s) back.


Return Policy - Buttons, Flasks, CDs

Exchange Policy - T-Shirts

Sharing Machine customers may exchange any number of T-Shirts, once each, for replacement T-Shirts in the same style, and a different size. T-Shirts returned to Sharing Machine for an EXCHANGE must be in unwashed, unworn condition, and free of dust, dirt, hair, and odor. To arrange an exchange of your t-shirts, please contact store@sharingmachine.com with the e-mail subject "Sharing Machine Exchange", and include your full mailing address along with the sizes/styles of both the original purchase and the shirt(s) you wish to receive in exchange.

Sharing Machine reserves the right to refuse an exchange if the original shirts are returned in washed or worn condition, or if the shirts contain dust, dirt, animal or human hair, or have an objectionable odor. If you plan to exchange your shirts, keep them in a clean area, and contact Sharing Machine for exchange instructions as soon as possible.

Exchanged T-Shirts **MUST** be sent to our warehouse in Ypsilanti, MI. You MUST write to store@sharingmachine.com with the e-mail subject "Sharing Machine Exchange" to exchange your shirts. DO NOT send them to our Columbus address. We are not responsible for t-shirts sent to any address not listed on our official exchange form.

Exchanges are limited to one PER SHIRT that you purchase - we have a sizing guide available to ensure you receive the correct size when you order.

If you return shirts which are dirty, washed, worn, contain human or animal hair, or have an objectionable odor, Sharing Machine will NOT return these shirts to you. Do not send shirts in any of these conditions back to Sharing Machine, as they will not be returned.

An exchange form must be requested within 30 days of payment for the shirt(s) you wish to exchange.

By placing a T-Shirt order with Sharing Machine, you are confirming that you have read and understand our EXCHANGE POLICY.

Merchandise marked "CLEARANCE, "CLOSEOUT", or "MARKDOWN" is not eligible for return or exchange. DO NOT send merchandise marked "CLEARANCE, "CLOSEOUT", or "MARKDOWN" back to Sharing Machine as we can not exchange it or send you the original item(s) back.



Exchange Policy - Buttons, Flasks, CDs

Sharing Machine does not provide for exchanges of Button/Flask/CDs. As shown in the RETURN POLICY above, if defective Button/Flask/CD(s) are received by the customer, Sharing Machine will replace the defective Button/Flask/CD(s) at no cost, and ship the replacement(s) via First Class Mail (USA) or Airmail (outside of USA.)

International Shipping & Duty Costs

If you are located in Europe, and your order total of goods (not inclusive of shipping) is over US $100.00, then your local government may charge you a small tariff (duty tax) for importing goods to your country. If your local post office presents you with a charge upon delivery, you must pay, accept the package, and present your local post office/taxation authority with the receipt of your purchase showing that the total of imported goods are less than $100.00.

If you refuse the package, Sharing Machine will not reship it to you, nor will Sharing Machine be responsible for the duty tax your local government charges. We are based in the United States and have no control over the import tariffs of your nation's government, nor do we have control over your local postal delivery office.



No Refunds

There will be no refunds for any reason. All merchandise sold by Sharing Machine is sold as-is without any guarantee. By making a purchase with Sharing Machine, you are confirming that you have read and understand our no refunds policy.

Sharing Machine customers may exchange one size of t-shirt for another at no cost, under certain conditions, as shown in the EXCHANGE POLICY - T-SHIRTS, above.

No Return/No Exchange Policy - Original Art

All merchandise sold in the "Original Art" section of the store is sold as-is, without any guarantee. By purchasing an "Original Art" item from Sharing Machine, you are confirming that you have read and understand our Original Art *no return/exchange* policy.

No Warranty Policy

Products sold by Sharing Machine are not under warranty. Customer accepts all responsibility for merchandise received by Sharing Machine in NEW, NON-DEFECTIVE condition. Sharing Machine will replace defective merchandise at Sharing Machine's cost, but no warranty is expressed or implied for the condition or utility of any merchandise once it is received by the customer in new, non-defective condition. By placing an order with Sharing Machine, you are confirming that you have read and understand our No Warranty policy.


Christmas Delivery: 2011

Customers outside the US must order by 11:59pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 to have their item(s) delivered on or before Christmas Eve (December 24 2011.) Customers inside the US must order by 11:59pm on Friday, December 9, 2011 to have their item(s) delivered on or before Christmas Eve (December 24 2011.) The store will remain open and we will make our best effort to process and ship orders in a timely manner after these deadlines, but Sharing Machine cannot guarantee that items ordered after November 30 (outside the US) or December 9 (within the US) will arrive by Christmas Eve.

Sharing Machine cannot guarantee delivery to any specific date prior to Christmas Eve (December 24, 2011) due to the high volume of orders being processed in November-December 2011, and the high volume of parcels being shipped by USPS during that time period.



CLOSEOUT SALE: December 29, 2011-January 2, 2012

Items marked "CLOSEOUT" purchased from Sharing Machine during our closeout sale (12/29/11 - 1/2/12) are not eligible for return or exchange. Items marked "CLOSEOUT" are extremely limited in quantity and Sharing Machine reserves the right to substitute another item (selected by the customer) if the item purchased was oversold. Customer MUST choose another closeout item (any available size/style) as replacement, not in-stock items.

The only merchandise available during our closeout sale is "CLOSEOUT" merchandise. Our regular selection of merchandise will be available once the closeout sale ends. Closeout sale ends January 2, 2012 at 11:59pm Eastern time, but Sharing Machine reserves the right to end the sale early if stock is depleted.

"CLOSEOUT" items are not available in every size and are only available on a first-come, first-served basis.
